I came to yoga in my mid 20s, after years of struggling in search of the perfect job, the perfect home, the perfect relationship and the perfect amount of cash I wanted in my bank account. I realised quite soon that “I was always missing something”. Depression and anxiety slowly made their way into my existence, but “I was too busy” to recognise the symptoms.
I was working in a big TV network at the time, and I had a breakdown. My centre and balance simply “got lost” into what society imposes as a “promise of real happiness”. So, basically, I discovered the practice and its value when I was struggling to get out of a big depression.
Luckily enough, my will to live and make the most of any experience, including the “bad ones”, brought me to change a number of things in my life, and then it was my moment to start practicing. Seriously. Always keeping my beginner’s mind alive. The rest, as they say “is history” – the history you find in the “about” section of this web.
