WHAT I OFFER

I consider myself very fortunate because in the era of the massification and marketing of yoga, i have had the privilege of meeting many authentic masters, teachers and instructors who have been able to instill in me the passion for yoga in a healthy, coherent and loving way. My main influences are the Sivananda school (Hatha Yoga) and the Krishnamacharya lineage (the Iyengar school, the Ashtanga yoga of Patthabi Jois and the Viniyoga – therapeutic yoga of Desikachar).

I’m not interested in “Instagram Yoga”, and i am very critical about its homologation of practice and practitioners. To be honest, i’m not particularly interested in what I call the yoga = fitness equation, very fashionable indeed, but often empty of content. What I share and pass on to my students is the real possibility of transforming the body/mind starting from the source of traditional teachings. A source of infinite wisdom, totally adaptable to contemporary life. When one discovers, through constant practice, that discipline is the actual freedom, the practice itself simply blossoms from this new awareness, and becomes a moment of real joy. A regular yoga practice can really transform each of us very deeply and for the better, regardless of our age, gender or physical form.

Beginners are my passion. You don’t need to be hyper flexible or athletic to start practicing. You just need to be curious about yourself, and about how to improve your general wellbeing.

Here’s few proposals to help you to get into yoga, and fall in love with it!

WHAT I OFFER

Beginners are my passion. You don’t need to be hyper flexible or athletic to start practicing. You just need to be curious about yourself, and about how to improve your general wellbeing.

Here’s few proposals to help you to get into yoga, and fall in love with it!

At a time when the practice of yoga has become extremely massive and commercial, I continue to believe that a close relationship between the teacher and the students is fundamental for the proper development of the practice itself, and to be able to fully enjoy all its benefits – both physically and mentally.

That is why my yoga groups are always small (maximum 8 people), and each assistant receives a truly personalised attention.

Yoga is for all those people interested in connecting deeply with themselves, regardless of their religion, origin, gender, age or body type.

Come experience it!

Did you know that…

According to the World Health Association and the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, stress is the cause of 60% of absenteeism and is the 2nd reason for absenteeism in Europe after back pain? The company that offers yoga or other health programs for their employees saves between 3-6 USD per every 1 USD invested in programs to improve the health of employees (according to the American Health Journal)?

Coming from the corporate world myself, I know the incredible amount of stress experienced in big corporations, and I decided to put my skills at the service of companies. In addition to all the benefits for the individual, yoga brings to the company:

  • Increased productivity and time management skills
  • Decreased absenteeism
  • Higher rates of employee retention
  • Fewer incidences of repetitive stress injuries
  • Fewer incidences of back pain, known as the second major cause of absenteeism after stress
  • Improved workers’ relationships, satisfaction and morale

My clients:

Taking a few private yoga sessions will be well worth the investment and also can help you muster up the courage to participate in a group yoga class.

I offer private sessions and therapeutic yoga classes at home or at work.

Please get in contact with me for further details.

My academic training was in anthropology and archaeology. Afterwards, life led me to work for many years in the corporate world, in the field of communications and events production.

Nevertheless, from a very early age, all the disciplines and techniques pertaining to human development and general well-being have interested me. Initially a harbinger of personal healing, the yoga practice effectively transformed into a passion after lengthy studies and research in my new profession.

Above all, I am a tireless traveller. Of all the places in the world that i have travelled and lived like Spain, France, Italy, England, Egypt, Nepal, Australia, Mexico, Guatemala, USA and India is the place that i consider my home. I have toured the mountainous regions of the north, gotten lost in her cities filled with contrasts, studied yoga in different ashrams, found many masters, and had the opportunity to collaborate as an assistant director in several documentaries about Tibetan Buddhism in India.
